No excuses, except not enough hours in the day has kept me from updating the blog.We have been getting out though not as often as we would like especially in that unprecedented dry spell. Oh to win the lottery ;-)
We had a great trip to Gairloch which included getting up Slioch and gave me more ideas of hills that I want to do in that area. I suspect I'll do Slioch again as it was a crackin day oot :-D
There was the slightly earlier than usual trip for Steve's work crowd where we ended up on Sgurr a Mhain via the Devil's Ridge. As ever an entertaining weekend made very comfortable with our stay in The Glencoe Hotel.
Our few days in Lochcarron gave me more food for thought on areas to explore as we did lots of beachcombing and wandering up hills that might not get the same attention now its no longer a Munro.
We even had a camping trip south of the border to Newton on Rawcliffe North York Moors for a change to catch up with Steve's family and old school chums as well as the influx of geese on Hornsea Meer that nearly had us for dinner.
Oh for more days to wander and blow the cobwebs away..............................
